This is the first photo to surface of the Northern Illinois University shooter Stephen Kazmierczak (who may have spelled his name Steven). Kazmierczak evidently hid behind a curtain in a lecture hall before opening fire on the students attending a class there. Stephen turned the gun on himself and took his life after injuring — and killing five others.
