The Oscar for Best Leading Actor went to Gregory Peck in “To Kill a Mockingbird”

The other nominees were: -Burt Lancaster in “Birdman of Alcatraz” -Jack Lemmon in “Days of Wine and Roses” -Marcello Mastroianni in “Divorce - Italian Style” -Peter O’Toole in “Lawrence of Arabia”

Personal opinion… All I can say is… WHAT A GREAT LINE UP!!!!!!!!!! I know this video has been posted before, but I want to read your comments. O’Toole/Lemmon/Lancaster/Mastroianni/Peck. I watched Lawrence of Arabia and To Kill… I can’t decide who gave the best performance, I think it was O’Toole. All I can say is… What a great year for Oscar 1962 Anne Bancroft, Patty Duke, Ed Begley and Lawrence of Arabia as BP. Outsanding!!!
