Vinton tests their Whelen sirens (Three of them, all model WPS-2807) every Saturday. This is video of the siren located near the corner of C Avenue and 17th Street being tested. You can also hear at least one of the other sirens off in the distance being tested.

The test normally occurs at noon, but the siren controllers are still programmed with the old Daylight Savings Time rules. Thus, for a short period of time twice a year, the sirens are tested an hour off-schedule (1PM for most of March, and 11AM for part of November).
