“Unnamed aides” [always the best kind of aides, don’t you think?] have taken the knives out and stabbed the Palin mystique viciously in the back. The allegations are coming from the L.A. Times and Newsweek, and are propagating the internet as we collect space dust: Unnamed McCain aides have told the media that Palin wasn’t aware that Africa was a continent, and her family behaved like a band of “Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus (an upscale American clothing store) from coast to coast.”
